Just imagine if iPhone 5 is 4G for Sprint.

Back to reality though, just having iPhone on all three carriers is awesome. There are now no barriers to the iPhone and carriers will have to really compete with each other in terms of plans to get iPhone customers. Or they could create a cratel or "troika" to have the exact same plan on all carriers.
BTW I've said it before I think Sprint is the coolest carrier (don't really know why) so I'm super exited.

Why would Apple add battery killing WiMax radios, especially when Sprint is thinking of switching to LTE.

That and when the rest of the planet has ignored WiMAX completely.

The iPhone is already on up to 5 carriers in other countries. It hasn't been able to defeat the Android army

True.... but some folks believe it's the number of devices sold that determines the strength of the platform.
Android fans love to spout the "550,000 activations per day" number. But other than the sheer number of Android devices sold... I don't see much going for Android.
You do get choice in the type of hardware... but you're right... overall iPhone customers are happy.

Eehh, would any one consider that Steve would make a good creative movie guy? Think about it. He would be a good Science Fiction guy. He could come up with great ideas for future tech in Star Trek. Then Apple could build it. We would buy it. I mean more than what Apple has now. Way beyond what Apple has now.

Short of a court battle, the AT&T / T-Mobile deal is dead. Not much sense in even thinking about it at this point.

Until I see a customer-taken image of some guy with a polo shirt with the word "Sprint" embroidered on it inside an Apple Store, this is no more proof of anything than anything else at this point.
But that's standard operating procedure for any Apple release, so it's basically common knowledge at this point.
