Apple updates HP printer and scanner drivers
One week after rolling out similar updates for Canon, Epson and Lexmark printers, Apple on Thursday released a driver update for HP printers, scanners and all-in-ones.Version 2.11 of Apple's printer and scanner driver set for HP products covers a number of products, including the Business Inkjet and Color Laserjet lines, and is built for Macs running OS X Mountain Lion, OS X Lion and Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard or higher. Devices from the the Deskjet, Photosmart and PSC product lines were not part of the update.

About HP Printer Drivers v.2.11 for OS X
This download includes the latest HP printing and scanning software for OS X Mountain Lion, OS X Lion and Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard.
The updated driver pack weighs in at 473.4MB and can be downloaded via Software Update or Apple's Support Downloads website.

Still no working scanner for the 1312nfi.
Why do they make a half working driver?
