Apple Online Store now offering refurbished 5th-gen iPod touch for $240

Apple on Monday added the fifth-generation iPod touch to the "special deals" section of the company's online storefront, offering $50 savings on refurbished 32GB and 64GB units.



The addition of the latest iPod touch models brings savings of 16 percent off list for the 32GB model, which now sells for $249. The discounted version comes in in five colors, excluding the (PRODUCT) RED edition.

Discounts for the 64GB model offer savings of 12 percent, with prices dropping to $349. As with the 32GB model, all colorways are available except for the special (PRODUCT) RED version.

The latest addition to Apple's refurbished lineup comes after the company discounted current-generation 27-inch iMacs last week.
