Rounding up the best (remaining) Apple iPad Air and iPad mini deals of Black Friday 2014

While deals on Apple's iPad lineup where aplenty in the week leading up to Black Friday, most of those offers have since dried up due to a shortage of inventory. Fortunately, if you know where to look, significant discounts and availability are still able to be had. Here's where and how.

iPad Air 2s

While Best Buy heavily flaunted $100 discount on Apple's iPad Air 2 for Black Friday, the big-box retailer launched the sale in the middle of the night Wednesday and did not secure enough inventory to keep any of the models in stock long enough for non-nocturnal shoppers to take advantage of the offer. Fortunately, MacMall is now selling iPads, and while its discounts of $40-$75 are a bit more modest, our iPad Price Guide indicates that almost every model remains in stock and ready to ship. What's more, while MacMall does will not collect sales tax on orders shipped outside CA, CO, GA, IL, MN, NC, NY, TN, and WI. So if you live outside one of those states, your total net savings will be pretty close the Best Buy's original deal, since Best Buy collects sales tax on all orders:
