Firmware reveals Apple Watch 'Series 3' to come in 'Blush Gold', 'Ceramic Gray'

The leaked iOS 11 GM firmware reveals that there appear to be two new colors for the Apple Watch. We expect to see these at the Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater on Tuesday, where we'll be on site and hands-on with the newly announced devices.

The forthcoming Apple Watch Sport will apparently come in a new "Blush Gold" color over its aluminum material, digging in the firmware by 9to5mac has revealed. The "Blush Gold" color is interesting in light of the gold color we saw in the SIM tray rumor that surfaced earlier this week.

The ceramic Edition model now appears to come in a "Gray" color. Whether or not it displaces the white ceramic color in the lineup remains to be seen.

It's possible that the "Blush Gold" color is a darker gold that will match the darker gold color that the "iPhone 7s" and 'iPhone 8" are expected to be offered in.

Earlier leaks from the iOS 11 GM revealed that the Apple Watch will, indeed, come in an LTE-equipped version. Pricing is not yet known, but there have been indications that some carriers might offer a free month of service to entice users to try the LTE connectivity.

All will be revealed this Tuesday at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern, at the Apple Park Steve Jobs Theater, where our reporter Daniel Eran Dilger will be on site with exclusive news and analysis.
