Apple orders 'Gutsy Women' docuseries starring Chelsea and Hillary Clinton

Apple TV+ has given a straight-to-series order for a new docuseries based on Hillary and Chelsea Clinton's best-selling book, "The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience."

"Gutsy Women" will be hosted by former First Lady, U.S. Senator, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, alongside her daughter. The series aims to answer the question: what does it take to be a gutsy woman?

The docuseries will be produced by HiddenLight productions, the new company founded by Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and Sam Branson. The series will be executive produced by Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, along with Johnny Webb and Roma Khanna.

The book features portraits of courageous women such as Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Mary Ritter Beard, Harriet Tubman, Edith Windsor, and Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, as pointed out by Deadline.

"Gutsy Women" joins Apple's critically acclaimed documentaries including "Boys State," "Becoming You," and "The Oprah Conversation."
