Inventory is likely to sell out quickly due to Amazon's steep price cuts heading into the weekend as back-to-school shoppers gear up for the fall semester.
Today's price drops include a $400 discount on the standard 16-inch MacBook Pro with a Core i7 processor, bringing the retail configuration down to $1,999.
Those wanting the line's powerful 8-core Core i9 processor can also save $500 on the premium spec with 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4GB graphics. Now $2,299, inventory is limited and the Space Gray finish is already sold out at Amazon.
