First look: GoPro's upcoming QuikStories software is an automated storytelling tool

GoPro wants to automate the process of offloading, editing and creating videos on mobile devices from footage captured by its Hero 5 action camera, and QuikStories is its answer. AppleInsider got a sneak peek at the forthcoming software at the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colo., this week.

Apple partners with Salesforce, Nuance to deliver iMessage Business Chat in iOS 11

On the last day of WWDC, Apple detailed Business Chat, its new enterprise customer support platform for iOS 11, leveraging iMessage Apps introduced in iOS 10 as well as integration with Maps, Safari and Spotlight search, in partnership with existing Customer Service Platforms (CSP) from Genesys, LivePerson, Nuance and Salesforce.

Apple Pay person-to-person transfers will be free with debit card, incur 3% fee with credit card

This fall's launch of iOS 11 will include secure person-to-person money transfers authorized by Apple Pay, but if you use it with a credit card instead of debit, the service comes with a caveat: an industry-standard 3 percent fee.
