Motorola iTunes phone to ship this quarter

The Motorola iTunes did not make an appearance during Monday's MOTONOW event held for analysts and the media, but will ship this quarter according to Motorola. "Motorola highlighted their upcoming portfolio of music phones, targeted to millions of music lovers around the globe," reads a statement released by the company today. "The ROKR family will include phones that offer dedicated music keys, optimized music player interface, superior audio capability, extensive memory (internal or removable), and a long battery life." Motorola, however, told the audiance that the phone would be announced and shipped within the 66 days remaining in its current quarter.
