Giveaway: Win a baseball, basketball or golf sensor and app from Blast Motion

For the next seven days, AppleInsider readers in the U.S. can enter to win one of ten sensors (with app) courtesy of Blast Motion. Each winner will get to choose between the Easton Power Sensor, Basketball Replay and Golf Replay — all of which utilize motion capture technology to help improve your game.

In fact, Blast's Easton Power Sensor was recently named the official swing sensor of the Houston Astros. The sensor itself attaches to your bat, while the app captures a variety of metrics, such as swing speed, time to contact, power and swing direction. This can help better control where and how far you hit the ball.

For basketball players, the Basketball Replay analyzes vertical height, hang time and even jump acceleration. Utilizing sensor metrics, video capture and drills for improvement, the Blast system provides a personalized solution to enhance your game.

Prefer a round of golf? The Blast Golf Replay also includes drills to improve your timing, while the sensor captures stroke data. All three platforms (baseball, basketball and golf) can determine when peak action occurs. Video replay is then slowed down, allowing for greater insight into the mechanics of the swing or jump. Once the peak action is over, the video resumes at normal speed. The app is compatible with iOS devices running 8.x or later.
