Moshi releases new Symbus Mini portable USB-C hub

Moshi Symbus Mini portable USB-C hub

Moshi's family of USB-C hubs grows with the introduction of the Symbus Mini 7-in-1 portable hub for both Mac and iPad.

Symbus Mini connects to your Mac, iPad, or other USB-C device via a single port and brings expands your I/O with seven additional ports. The ports on Symbus Mini are:

  • HDMI 2.0
  • USB-C PD port
  • SD card slot
  • MicroSD card slot
  • Two USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports up to 5 Gbps
  • Gigabit Etherner

It features an integrated cable held in place while not using Moshi's SnapTo magnetic cable management system. The USB-C port supports Power Delivery with up to 70W of power for your Mac or iPad. HDMI supports 4K output at 60 Hz, with support for HDR as well. Moshi also developed its own slimline Ethernet port that takes up less space and allows the USB-C hub to stay smaller for travel.

This far outpaces Moshi's previous portable USB-C hub, the generically-named USB-C Multi-Port Adapter that only offered three expansion ports for $69.

The Moshi Symbus Mini is available now for $89.95. You can grab it direct from Moshi as well as other select retailers.
