Apple TV+ has picked up 15 nominations at the first annual Hollywood Critics Association TV awards, with "Ted Lasso" picking up eight nominations.

Founded in 2016, the Hollywood Critics Association was "created to acknowledge the importance of online critics and encourage, support, and promote underrepresented voices within the industry," according to the HCA website.

On August 22, HCA will hand out awards at its first annual Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards at the Hollywood Avalon. The awards are meant to highlight exceptional works in streaming and network television.

"Ted Lasso" is up for eight awards, including Best Streaming Comedy Series, Best Actor for Jason Sudeikis, dual nominations in Best Supporting Actress for Juno Temple and Hannah Waddingham, and four nominations in Best Supporting Actor for Brendan Hunt, Brett Goldstein, Jeremy Swift, and Nick Mohammed.

Apple's workplace-meets-gaming comedy, "Mythic Quest" is also nominated for three awards, all directly competing with "Ted Lasso." The nominations include Best Streaming Comedy Series, Best Actor for Rob McElhenney, and Best Supporting Actor in a Streaming Series for Danny Pudi.

"Servant" picks up a nomination for Best Streaming Series Drama and one for Best Supporting Actor for Rupert Grint.

"Dickinson" also picks up one nomination for Best Actress in a Streaming Comedy Series for Hailee Steinfeld.

"1971: The Year Music Changed Everything" is also up for an award in the category for Best Streaming Docuseries, Documentary Television Movie, or Non-Fiction Series.

Apple TV+ recently earned three Saturn Award nomination for "For All Mankind," "Servant," and "Amazing Stories."

It also picked up 25 Daytime Emmy Award nominations for shows such as "Ghostwriter," "Helpsters," "Stillwater," and "Long Way Up."
