Mike Peterson

Mike Peterson is a San Diego-based journalist who cut his teeth at local print newspapers doing everything from page design to reporting on city council meetings. He's been covering Apple and technology, with a focus on privacy and security, since 2016.

When he's not staring at a screen, Mike is a voracious reader, registered yoga teacher and outdoor enthusiast. He spent most of his early 20s as the frontman of an unknown indie rock band. He's now almost fully recovered.
