Amazon, Google, Microsoft & Spotify among companies pushing Day of Action for net neutrality

A group of 40 technology companies on Wednesday launched a "Day of Action," designed to encourage feedback to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission in support of net neutrality regulations -- which are opposed by Trump-appointed chairman Ajit Pai, as well as internet service providers like AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon.

White House warns Congress that anti-net neutrality bill could be vetoed

If Congress sends HR 2666 -- a bill that might seriously weaken the FCC's net neutrality rules -- to the president for his signature, it would almost certainly be returned with a veto stamp, the White House said this week.

Net neutrality has once again come under fire from a number of groups, including 14 Republican representatives who introduced a bill Tuesday to let Congress review net neutrality rules passed by the Federal Communications Commission -- and potentially halt them.
