Apple cuts prices on high-end MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini SSD upgrades

Apple has made it cheaper for customers buying a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or Mac mini to go for increased storage options, cutting the cost of upgrades on the higher capacity SSD selections by up to $400, depending on the model and SSD volume.

Mac accessory vendor OWC acquires Thunderbolt 3 enclosure maker InXtron

OWC has confirmed it has acquired InXtron, a case manufacturer formerly known as Macpower Peripherals, a purchase that could enable the Mac hardware retailer to further increase its offerings relating to docks and external enclosures for use with Mac desktops and MacBooks.
