Apple Store app for iOS updated with Apple Watch support

Apple on Thursday rolled out an updated version of its Apple Store app for iOS with support for Apple Watch, which lets users keep track of orders, pick up purchases, check in to Genius Bar appointments and more.

With the latest Apple Store app, users can take advantage of in-store convenience features directly on their wrist. Like other apps designed for Apple Watch, Apple Store for iOS feeds off an iPhone's data network and geolocation capabilities, meaning features are limited.

Network functions include real-time order status updates and the ability to search, browse and sign up for in-store events. Using geolocation tools, the Apple Store app is able to check in for Genius Bar reservations, discover nearby retail locations and initiate the in-store pickup process.

Apple's updated Apple Store app with Apple Watch support is a free 21.4MB download from the App Store.
