Assassin's Creed Identity
brings the series back to the Italian Renaissance, and lets players create a custom character in one of four classes, progressing through ranks by completing quests. Gamers can also customize their character with different outfits and weapons.
On top of introducing RPG elements, Identity is also the first Assassin's Creed game to offer total freedom of movement on iOS. Traditionally, the limited graphics and controls of iOS devices has restricted such gameplay to the Windows and console titles in the series. iOS players can use either a gamepad or onscreen controls.
Identity costs $4.99, and requires only iOS 7 or later, though performance may suffer on older hardware. In-app coin/credit purchases cost between $1.99 and $24.99 in the real world.
