After leaving Apple this summer, longtime PR executive Teresa Brewer has been named head of communications at SurveyMonkey, where she will start work on Oct. 31.
Brewer on Wednesday informed BusinessInsider about her new position at SurveyMonkey, which entails management of all internal and external communications.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Brewer left Apple in July after serving at the company for 12 years. Initially a corporate communications manager, Brewer later took on the role of PR manager for Mac and was later named Senior Public Relations Manager, iPhone & Accessibility.
Of note, the PR exec was one of the architects behind Apple's award-winning "Shot on iPhone" program which highlights crowd-sourced iPhone photography on social and traditional media.
Before Apple, Brewer worked at Sony Computer Entertainment America, handling communications for the firm's PlayStation platform.
Brewer is the latest PR veteran to leave Apple. Notably, longtime Apple PR director Natalie Kerris announced her retirement in April 2015. Kerris subsequently served as Twitter's vice president of communications for six months before stepping down in August.
