A new Diablo game is set to release to iPad, iPhone, and Android devices later in 2022, boasting a brand new story, competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes, and controller support.
First announced at Blizzcon 2018, "Diablo Immortal" takes place between the events of "Diablo II" and "Diablo III." It boasts a brand new story that sets characters loose in Sanctuary once more. Players will need to band together to prevent Skarn, the Herald of Terror, from resurrecting Diablo.
"The Diablo Immortal team is proud to create the opportunity for additional battle-ready adventurers to combat Skarn's deadly demonic forces and prevail," a statement from Blizzard reads. "We cannot wait for you to slay, loot, and explore in Sanctuary once Diablo Immortal launches!"
Blizzard has revealed that if the game reaches 30 million preorders, the "Horadrim Cosmetic set" will be unlocked for all players. It will be redeemable if the player completes the tutorial within 30 days of the game's release.
