The series stars Noomi Rapace ("The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," "You Won't Be Alone") and Emmy Award nominee Jonathan Banks ("Breaking Bad," "Better Call Saul"). James D'Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, and Barbara Sukowa round out the cast.

"Constellation" is a space adventure that follows Jo, played by Rapace, as she returns to Earth after a disaster in space. The movie delves into the darker aspects of human psychology and showcases a woman's quest to unravel the truth about the hidden history of space travel. She is determined to recover everything she lost during her journey in space.

The series has been created and written by Peter Harness, who worked on "Wallander," "The War of the Worlds," and "Doctor Who."

Emmy Award winner Michelle MacLaren will direct the series. MacLaren has worked with Apple TV+ previously on "Shining Girls" and "The Morning Show."

"Constellation" has been said to be one of the most expensive series to be filmed in Europe and the largest TV production in Finland.

In August, it was reported that the production had not paid its bills Finland, a report claims, with over a million euros ($1.08 million) in debts left unpaid months after filming ended.
