Blowout deals: grab a 24-inch iMac for $799 while supplies last

By Christine McKee

Apple resellers are clearing out iMac inventory this week, with staggering discounts on the M1 24-inch iMac that knock up to $700 off.

Kicking off the sale, Amazon-owned Woot has the standard model with a 7-core GPU, 8GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD marked down to $799.99 in new condition. This blowout special is available with an English or Spanish keyboard, depending on the selected colorway. According to Woot, these models come with Apple's 1-year limited warranty and are eligible for AppleCare.

If you want an increase in GPU performance, the 8-core GPU spec is marked down to $899.99 in select colors at Best Buy, a discount of $600 off retail. Those wanting extra storage can also pick up the 8-core GPU model with 8GB RAM and a bump up to 512GB storage for $999, delivering $700 in savings off MSRP.

Considering M3 models are on sale from $1,199, these iMac deals offer significant savings compared to buying the latest release.
