Apple will open its newest Apple store in Austin, Texas on Saturday at Domain Northside, with the early store nearby likely to shutter.
Apple announced the opening at Domain Northside in Austin on Tuesday, with the new location opening its doors for the first time on Nov. 11 at 10:00 a.m. central time.
Pictures from construction on Sept. 19 suggest that the new location features exterior -- and presumably interior -- design elements consistent with the Apple Store 2.0 design ethos. Public records filed earlier this year attached the project to Apple and put the job's total valuation at $7,500,000 and more than 10,000 square feet.
Trappings of the new concept trappings include a wide-open sales floor, custom-built wooden product display furniture and floor-to-ceiling television display.
The Apple Store the new location will likely replace opened in 2007 in the first phase of The Domain's construction. The most recent store is installed in the third and final retail expansion of the shopping center's construction.
