It's been some time since our last case roundup for the iPad Pro. Here are even more of the best cases for Apple's 2018 iPad Pro that offer protection, versatility, and unique features.
Best cases for the iPad Pro
several great iPad Pro cases. With several new models rolling out in the last few months, it's time to take a second look.
Zugu Muse Case
After our original iPad Pro case roundup, we heard our readers and viewers loud and clear. Several members of the AppleInsider community recommended the Zugu Muse Case, which is why it is leading off our second roundup.
Zugu Muse case for iPad Pro
The Muse case is covered in a very soft, synthetic leather with a microfiber interior. When the case is opened, it will wake the iPad Pro and will put it into sleep mode when closed.
When the front of the cover is folded back, the Muse case can be propped up into a stand, with the position held in place with magnets. Unlike others with one or two angles, the Muse case is very adjustable with eight different angles suitable for just about any iPad Pro use case.
Apple Pencil users will be happy, with a snap-grip down the side for it stay in place while charging. It stays in well, but for further protection the Apple Pencil can be slid into an elastic pocket around back.
The front of the cover stays closed very well because of some strategically placed magnets, but is easy to open thanks to a small exposed edge at the bottom of the front.
Aside from all these features, it also protects your iPad. It can withstand drops from five feet, well above the normal usage height for an iPad Pro.
Grab it for the 11-inch iPad pro ($59) or the 12.9-inch ($69) from Amazon.
Native Union Stow Slim
Rather than a full case, the Native Union Stow Slim is better described as a sleeve for the iPad Pro. Build quality is excellent, with a heathered fabric around the exterior. The inside fabric cradles the iPad when housed.

When the iPad Pro is inserted, a hidden magnet keeps the sleeve closed and adds another premium element. The front of the sleeve also has an easily accessible pocket that can hold cables or papers while still keeping the sleeve slim.

Speck Presidio Pro Folio
Speck Presidio Pro Folio for iPad Pro
The Presidio Pro Folio is an ultra drop-resistant iPad case that can withstand tumbles from up to six feet. Like Speck's iPhone cases, the Presido-series case has a dual-layer design with "Impactium" built in to absorb shock during a fall.
There is Apple Pencil support with this case, which is also protected by the front cover of the Presidio Pro Folio. The folio can also be sealed shut with a clasp to further prevent the case from opening accidentally.
Like many cases, the case is also able to be propped up into multiple viewing angles. The front of the folio wraps around and can lay in a low profile for typing, or vertically for watching videos or using it as a display.
The back of the case is also partially clear, allowing the Apple logo and rear of the iPad to be visible.
Grab the Speck Presidio Pro Folio for under $60 from Amazon.
Picaso Lab
Picaso labs iPad Pro sleeve
Like the Native Union Stow Slim, Picaso Lab offers an iPad Pro sleeve rather than full case. Even better, it can house the iPad Pro with Apple's Smart Keyboard Folio attached. Each sleeve is handmade here in the U.S. from genuine, high quality leather.
The model we picked up has pebbled black leather on the exterior with a vivid red finish and accented red thread around the edges. Inside there is leather along the top before it transitions to soft felt. The top is leather to add additional rigidity, even after copious use.
An optional leather snap can be attached to keep your iPad in place when moving about, if necessary.
