Apple CEO Tim Cook is to host a company-wide online meeting to discuss how the company has been dealing with the coronavirus outbreak.
Apple employees in the US have been told that CEO Tim Cook will speak at a forthcoming virtual meeting, and asked to submit questions to him in advance. The meeting, which will be held some time later this month, will be company-wide and concentrating on Apple's handling of the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to Bloomberg, the email sent to Apple employees says that the purpose of the meeting is to give them the opportunity of asking questions of the whole executive team.
While no specific date has yet been given for the meeting, staff are asked to submit their questions by the end of this coming Saturday, April 11. As well as questions, they are encouraged to share their experiences of having to work from home.
This internal Apple event follows news that the company has donated $10 million to the public "One World: Together at Home" COVID-19 fundraiser.
