The service will be similar to existing over-the-internet streaming platforms like YouTube TV or Fubo TV. T-Mobile is offering some basic packages at a lower price than those other services, however.
TVision will launch with three different services. The first, TVision Live, features live sports and news and starts at $40 a month. There are different packages available here, with the lowest-cost entry sporting more than 30 channels and including ABC, FOX, and ESPN. Other tiers including a $50-a-month TVision Live TV+ option with more than 10 additional channels, and a TVision Live Zone with additional live sports channels.
The cheaper TVision Vibe starts at $10 a month, and features live and on-demand programming from AMC, Hallmark, Food Network, Discovery, and other channels.
Then, there's TVision Channels. It's an a la carte streaming service platform similar to Apple TV Channels. Users will be able to access other services, like STARZ and EPIX, for one fee and with one login.
The carrier is also launching its TV service with a special Apple-related promotion. Customers who sign up for TVision Live TV+ or Live Zone by Dec. 31 will get a free year of Apple TV+, with the option to add an Apple TV 4K for $99.
TVision services will become available for existing T-Mobile customers on Nov. 1. It'll then rollout to legacy Sprint customers later in November and to prepaid customers in 2021.
