Accessories manufacturer Catalyst on Monday announced an update to its Total Protection Case lineup with new designs for Apple's iPhone 12 series, offering water- and drop-proof protection at a premium price.
The new Total Protection Case for iPhone 12 features a sealed design with an IP68 rating tested for immersion in water at depths up to 33 feet. In addition, users can clean and disinfect the case with EPA-approved solutions.
Catalyst claims drop protection of up to 6.6 feet, while the case's simple two-piece construction ensures compatibility with Qi and MagSafe wireless charging devices.
Unique to the Total Protection Case is an optical lens system to accommodate iPhone 12's camera module, as well as special audio ports for clear sound. A patented rotating mute switch and integrated buttons provide easy access to iPhone's controls.
A lanyard is included and can be attached to the case on the bottom left or right corners.
The Total Protection Case comes in black and is up for pre-order at $89.99 through Catalyst's website.
Also updated for iPhone 12 are the Influence and Vibe series.
Priced at $39.99, the Influence line is built for daily use and boasts air-cushioned drop protection from up to 15 feet, raised edges to protect against screen and camera lens scratches, and a four-point attachment system for lanyards and accessories. Influence cases are up for pre-order now and come in Stealth Black, clear, Army Green and Pacific Blue.
Finally, the $39.99 Vibe Impact features up to 10 feet of drop protection, carbon fiber materials and the same scratch protection and Crux attachment system offered by the Influence. It is available in Stealth Black, Army Green, Bondi Blue, neon yellow and neon pink.
