Early Apple Watch Series 7 listings reveal select launch configurations

By AppleInsider Staff

Ahead of a start to Apple Watch Series 7 preorders on Friday, listings for the device have popped up on Amazon and reveal a small number of case and band pairings.

Amazon's Canadian website disclosed select Apple Watch Series 7 configurations for aluminum and stainless steel models on Wednesday, as spotted by Basic Apple Guy. Amazon's U.S. site has several product pages for the aluminum case models as well.

According to the listings, Apple is color matching Sports Bands with case hues. For example, the green aluminum model is paired with a Clover Sport Band, while an Abyss Blue Sport Band accompanies a blue aluminum case. Bands in Apple's new Starlight and Midnight colorways (white and black) are paired with matching aluminum case options. The Product(RED) version comes with matching a Product(RED) Sport Band.

All aluminum color combinations are offered in GPS and GPS + Cellular variants.

The gold stainless steel model can be purchased with a Dark Cherry Sport Band or gold Milanese Loop, while the silver stainless steel option is paired with either a Starlight Sport Band or silver Milanese Loop. Apple's graphite stainless steel model can be had with a graphite Milanese Loop or Abyss Blue Sports Band.

It is not clear if other variants will be available when orders go live on Friday, but Apple is scheduled to release Apple Watch Nike, Apple Watch Hermes and titanium Apple Watch models that are not listed among Amazon's entries. While not confirmed, the selection of configurations published by Amazon could be what Apple is supplying to third-party resellers. Rumors suggest Apple Watch Series 7 will be in short supply at launch.

Apple typically allows buyers to choose from a variety of configurations that includes a spectrum of Sport Band, Sport Loop, Solo Loop, Braided Solo Loop, leather link, modern buckle, Milanese Loop and stainless steel link options. The company in a recent press release said customers will be able to pick out Apple Watch Series 7 case and band combinations through Apple Watch Studio when purchasing directly through the company's store.
