The Swift Student Challenge is a way for learning developers to showcase their skills by creating a Swift playground. Apple reviews these coding projects, and then selects a number of winners who receive various perks.
Some of the 2022 winners have already received those gifts -- and have taken to Twitter to show them off. That includes Rishi Malhotra, who uses the name Vedant and develops apps for tracking tasks.

The swag that the student coders received included an Apple-branded beanie, stickers, a WWDC22 sweatshirt, a free pair of AirPods Pro, and a full year of membership in the Apple Developer Program.
Apple also sent a card to winners to celebrate their achievement.
"Your coding skills were tested, and they passed with flying colors. You're a confirmed WWDC22 Swift Challenge winner," the card reads. "The Swift Playgrounds app project you created demonstrates your commitment to coding and dedicated effort to bringing your design to life. At Apple, we value these qualities and are thrilled to present you with this exclusive award for your hard work. We appreciate your enthusiasm for Apple technologies and look forward to supporting your future coding efforts."
The Swift Student Challenge takes place around WWDC each year. In 2022, Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference will kick off with a 10 a.m. Pacific time keynote on Monday, June 6.
