Anker 30W Nano 3 USB-C charger is as colorful as the iPhone

By Malcolm Owen

Anker has started to sell the Nano 3, a 30W GaN charger in an extremely small form factor, and with a color range that could better match a user's iPhone.

A follow-up to the Nano II Gallium Nitride (GaN) charger released in 2021, Anker's 511 Nano 3 Charger is an extremely compact charger, measuring just 1.12 inches square and 1.4 inches long.

Despite being so small, it's a mighty charger that can output at up to 30W via its USB-C Port. According to Anker, it is capable of charging an iPad to 50% in 45 minutes, while its 30W output is potentially capable of recharging a MacBook Air.

It also happens to be 70% smaller than Apple's 30W USB-C charger, and has foldable plugs to make it even more practical to carry around in a device bag.

In a further change to the 2021 design, Anker's 2022 offering is also available in a variety of colors, including Aurora White, Natural Green, Lilac Purple, Misty Blue, and Phantom Black. While we won't know what colors Apple will offer the iPhone 14 in when it launches on Wednesday, the Anker range seems like it should complement many previously-sold model options too.

Anker is selling the 511 Nano 3 30W Charger on Amazon for $22.99, with an extra 10% coupon available on the page.

It is also available in a bundle with a six-foot Bio-Based USB-C to Lightning Cable, an MFi-certified cable with an exterior made from plant-based materials to reduce plastic usage. That bundle is also available on Amazon for $37.99 with a 10% on-page coupon, but only in Aurora White and Lilac Purple.
