Apple CEO Tim Cook has travelled to New York City to attend the first day's sales of the new iPhone 14 range at the prestigious Fifth Avenue store.
Cook was spotted entering the Store and beginning to talk with staff there at 8 a.m. Eastern on Friday, September 16. Apple has not announced his visit, nor has Cook yet done his usual tweets about visiting a store.
This is the first iPhone launch that Cook has attended in person in New York City since before the coronavirus pandemic.
Back in 2019, he attended the Fifth Avenue store for the iPhone 11 launch, but that occasion was also the reopening of that store. It had been closed for renovation for two years at that point, and Cook performed the opening ceremony.
Friday marks the first day that most of the new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch ranges have been available in-store. Apple has been spotlighting the very first buyers in Stores around the world.
