Rumors recently surfaced about a possible yellow iPhone 14 being announced soon, and leaker Mark Gurman corroborates this, calling a new color launch "imminent."
Apple's next iPhone 14 color could be yellow
Apple launched the green iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro on March 8, 2022 -- almost exactly one year ago. Since Apple tends to operate on a relatively clockwork schedule, this has led to speculation about another spring color update.
Accurate leaker and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has said as much via a tweet. He states that nearly a year after the iPhone 13 color update, a new iPhone 14 color is imminent.
That isn't too specific, but given the source, it provides a lot more weight behind a Weibo post about an impending yellow iPhone launch. This is also corroborated by information obtained by MacRumors that suggests a press briefing would take place sometime this week.
Nearly a year to the day after the announcement of the green iPhone 13, a new iPhone 14 color is indeed imminent.

There isn't any indication if Apple will reveal a new color for both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. The company generally reserves brighter colors for its non-pro devices, and a muted yellow likely wouldn't differentiate enough from the existing gold option for the iPhone 14 Pro.
Apple tends to release a new color way for its existing iPhone lineup in the spring. This provides a sales boost during what has historically been a weaker quarter for iPhone.
