Tom Holland's thriller 'The Crowded Room' premieres June 9 on Apple TV+

Apple has unveiled the first look at Tom Holland's "The Crowded Room," an Apple TV+ thriller series following a man arrested after a shooting.

The first three episodes of the series will premiere on Friday, June 9 followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through July 28. Tom Holland stars and serves as executive producer.

"The Crowded Room" follows Danny Sullivan (Holland), a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. The thriller is told through interviews with interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried).

As Goodwin works with Sullivan, the events of his life are revealed, including details of the enigmatic past that shaped him and the detours that will bring him to a realization that will change the course of his life.

Along with Holland, Seyfried, and Rossum, the series stars Sasha Lane, Will Chase, and Lior Raz, along with guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski, and Zachary Golinger.

"The Crowded Room" is a co-production between Apple Studios and New Regency, with Academy Award-winning writer and executive producer Akiva Goldsman ("A Beautiful Mind") through his Weed Road Productions. Executive producers from New Regency include New Regency's Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer.

The series is also executive produced by Alexandra Milchan for EMJAG Productions. Kornel Mundruczo directed several episodes, including the pilot and executive produces the series.
