Apple has shared a trailer for its new limited drama series "Defending Jacob," set to release to Apple TV+ on April 24.
"Defending Jacob" is based on the 2012 New York Times best-seller of the same name, authored by William Landay. The series will premiere the first three episodes on Friday, April 24, with new episodes releasing on Fridays afterward.
The video description reads, "In this gripping, character-driven thriller, a shocking crime rocks a small Massachusetts town and one family in particular, forcing an assistant district attorney to choose between his sworn duty to uphold justice and his unconditional love for his son."
The series will star Chris Evans ("Avengers"), Michelle Dockery ("Downton Abbey"), Jaeden Martell ("It," "It Chapter Two"), Cherry Jones ("Signs"), Pablo Schreiber ("Orange is the New Black"), Betty Gabriel ("Get Out"), and Sakina Jaffrey ("House of Cards").
