Naim Audio has released an updated version of its second-generation Mu-so AirPlay 2 speaker with a premium wood exterior in place of the standard steel.

The new model is built from sustainably-harvested Ayous hardwood that is then lacquered to a light oak-colored appearance. The heatsink has a new anodized aluminum finish as well, alongside a neutral-toned woven grille.

We reviewed the Naim Mu-so 2 at launch and found it a worth high-end AirPlay 2 speaker that includes direct streaming for all major streaming services and native multiroom support.
The Wood Edition of the Naim Mu-so 2 is available now from Naim Audio directly and soon will be available through Amazon and other retailers for $2,290, which is a roughly $600 premium over the standard version.
