Season two of Apple TV+ docuseries 'Dear...' coming on March 4

on Friday debuted the official trailer for the second season of its unscripted series "Dear...," which is arriving on the streaming on March 4.

The series, which is from Emmy and Peabody Award winner R.J. Cutler, spotlights "internationally recognized leaders, entertainers and athletes" through intimate letters from fans.

Inspired by Apple's "Dear Apple" commercials, the series takes an "inventive and cinematic approach" to biographies and inspiring stories.

"By reading these letters, each influential figure learns how they have unknowingly impacted others and gains new insight into how their work has made a unique contribution to the global community," Apple writes of the series.

Season two of "Dear..." features a new roster of icons, including Andre Leon Talley, Viola Davis, Malala Yousafzai, Jane Fonda, Ava DuVernay, Billy Porter, Sandra Oh, Laird Hamilton, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

The documentary series is executive produced by Cutler. Jane Cha Cutler, Todd Lubin, Jay Peterson, and Donny Jackson also exectuvie produce, while Matador Content serves as the producer.

"Dear..." season two premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, March 4.
