A last-minute leak claims to have full detail of Apple's forthcoming revised iPhone SE, including specifications and price.
Hours ahead of the March 8 "Peek Performance" Apple event, Korean leaker "Lanzuk" is reporting that he has details direct from a source in the Taiwan supply chain. According to this unspecified source, the new iPhone SE will remain at the same $399 as the current model.
He also claims that it will have:
- A15 processor
- 4GB RAM
- MagSafe
- Ceramic Shield display
- Unspecified battery capacity increase
- Unspecified camera improvements
In translation, the claimed leak says that whatever the camera improvement is, it is not that Apple is adding a sensor shift.
The translated leak also says "same as 4.7-inch Dipple," presumably meaning the new iPhone SE will retain the screen size and Touch ID of the 2020 model.
"Lanzuk" is noted for having a mixed track record. In as far as it goes, though, this latest leak does match up with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's recent tweet of the new iPhone SE's specifications.
