'Five Days at Memorial' begins streaming on August 12
Based on actual events,"Five Days at Memorial" is a drama series adapted from a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Sheri Fink. It tells the story of how Hurricane Katrina impacted the people at Memorial Medical Center in the days following the storm.
As floodwaters rose and resources depleted, employees at the hospital were faced with unimaginable decisions, which would follow them for years to come. The trailer shows how an investigation from the Attorney General uncovers the mystery behind 45 dead bodies found in the hospital.
The series stars Vera Farmiga, Cherry Jones, Robert Pine, Cornelius Smith Jr., Julie Ann Emery, and Adepero Oduye. It is executive produced and written by Carlton Cuse and John Ridley.
