To prepare for the 2023 MLS season kick-off on February 25, Apple and MLS have shared details on what fans can expect with the MLS Season Pass, and what's changing.

The games will have enhanced production quality when they tune in with MLS Season Pass. They will feature more camera angles, 1080p video, and Dolby 5.1. audio. Improved data and graphics will provide better field coverage and replays.

All matches will feature commentary in English and Spanish, and Canadian teams will also boast French commentary.

MLS fans can check out dedicated studio programming to preview weekly matchups, hear stories from players and teams, and get insight into key moments.

The "MLS 360" is a new show that provides an in-depth look at every match and provides analysis and discussion.

The MLS Season Pass also gives fans access to a library of MLS classics, historic matches, current match replays and highlights, and club-produced content.

Existing Apple TV+ subscribers can now add the MLS Season Pass for $12.99 per month or $79 per season. For non-subscribers, the cost is $14.99 per month or $99 per season, and fans sign up via the Apple TV app.

The 10-year deal has seen Apple setting up a framework for it to run ads during MLS games. Recently it was reported that Apple TV+ is eschewing the traditional practice of selling individual ad spots, and guaranteeing certain viewing figures, in favor of season-long advertising campaigns.
