Lily Gladstone, one of the stars of the Apple TV+ movie "Killers of the Flower Moon," has won the Best Actress category at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on Saturday night, and Apple TV+ walked away with one gong from the event. An award win that's also a major milestone.
Lily Gladstone, who starred in the Martin Scorsese film "Killers of the Flower Moon" alongside Leonardo DiCaprio won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. Gladstone's win is also the first ever by an Indigenous performer in the award's history.
In taking the title, Gladstone had to fend off competition from Annette Bening in "Nyad," Carey Mulligan in "Maestro," Emma Stone in "Poor Things" and Margot Robbie in "Barbie."
"Killers of the Flower Moon" was also up for other awards, with Robert De Niro nominated for best supporting actor, as well as the awards for best outstanding performance by a cast.
The win is the latest for 'Killers of the Flower Moon," which has seen considerable success during the awards season so far. The movie has been nominated for 10 Oscars, including Apple's second-ever Best Picture nomination.
Under the television categories, Brie Larson was nominated for best actress in a TV movie or limited series for "Lessons in Chemistry," Billy Crudup was up for best actor in a drama series for "The Morning Show" while Jennifer Aniston didn't quite clinch best actress in a drama series. Hannah Waddingham, Jason Sudeikis, and Brett Goldstein were nominated for best actor or actress in a comedy series for "Ted Lasso."
"The Morning Show" and "Ted Lasso" were also up for best ensemble cast in a drama series and comedy series respectively, but were beaten by "Succession" and "The Bear."
