The fourth-generation iPhone SE will land in early 2025, with a report doubling down on claims it will have an OLED display and Apple Intelligence support.
The iPhone SE 4 could look like the iPhone 14, but with added Apple Intelligence
The iPhone SE 4 should offer many updates to the budget-oriented smartphone, according to previous rumors. A report on Sunday has continued to offer similar claims, for what is shaping up to be a major revamp for the model.
According to Bloomberg, the iPhone SE 4 will be arriving as early as "the beginning of 2025." It will be the first update to the iPhone SE since 2022.
The newsletter goes on to reiterate rumors that there will be an OLED display across the full face of the iPhone SE. The chassis will be one that's modeled on the iPhone 14, which has been raised previously, though it's also proposed to look like the iPhone 16.
As for the inside, the report says that it will include support for Apple Intelligence functionality. With it potentially costing less than $500, it could be a very low-cost way to get onto the generative AI bandwagon.
Bloomberg has a reasonably good track record when it comes to rumors and leaks. The latest report doesn't offer much new about the iPhone SE 4, but it does add some weight to rumors about the model.
Other specifications that have surfaced in rumors include Face ID support and it having one single rear camera.
