The updated version released on Wednesday introduces a new sidebar that appears on the left-hand side of the app. The sidebar, which can be hidden, features buttons to quickly access Sessions, the For You page, Search, Bag, Favorites, and Recent Orders.
There are also dedicated product buttons in the sidebar offering navigation to everything from iPhone to HomePod mini.
Additionally, the Apple Store update also introduces support for virtual Today at Apple sessions and makes it easier to add a keyboard or Apple Pencil when shopping for an iPad.
The Apple Store app is the company's primary product shopping platform, featuring a number of options to buy Apple devices online or check out with Apple Pay when shopping at a brick-and-mortar location.
