Verizon unlimited customers both old and new will get six months of Apple Arcade for free starting on May 25.
Customers subscribed to Verizon's Unlimited mobile plans will get half a year of Apple Arcade, allowing them access to a growing catalog of ad-free and exclusive games. Customers subscribed to Verizon's upgraded "Play More Unlimited" or "Get More Unlimited" plans will get a full year of Apple Arcade for free.
In the fine print, Verizon states that customers will need to enroll by no later than Aug. 19, 2021, to take advantage of the plan. After the offer ends, the subscription to Apple Arcade will auto-renew at the standard $4.99 per month.
Apple Arcade was announced in March of 2019, with the service launching in September of that year. Noteworthy developers at launch included Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, Konami, and LEGO.
