Apple has announced that the eight-episode murder mystery comedy "The Afterparty" is to stream on Apple TV+ from January 28, 2022.

Describing the show as a "genre-defying series," Apple says that the first three episodes will launch at the same time. The subsequent five editions will follow weekly on Fridays.
As previously reported, "The Afterparty" is set at a high school reunion where one person is murdered. It's a Rashomon-style drama, where the same incidents are recounted from different characters' points of view.
Each episode will also be shot in a different visual style, and embody a different movie genre.
Tiffany Haddish, from "Girls Trip," plays the central character of Detective Danner. The partygoers, school friends, and suspect, include Ben Schwartz, best known as Jean-Ralphio in "Parks and Recreation."
The series also stars Sam Richardson, Zoe Chao, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Jamie Demetriou, and John Early.
