Apple has shipped a minor update to watchOS 8.4, one which likely only contains bug fixes and security updates.
Apple's new watchOS 8.4 update went live on Wednesday, and is available for Apple Watch Series 3 and later models.
It's available as an over-the-air update. Users can also install the update manually in the Watch app on an iPhone, given that the Apple Watch is at least 50% charged and placed on a charger.
In December, users reported a charging bug with Apple Watch after updating to watchOS 8.3. The bug rendered the Apple Watch unable to charge properly on third-party chargers.
The build number for watchOS 8.4 is 19S546, which is the same build as the release candidate.
The previous release of watchOS 8 introduced many features, including new Pilates and Tai Chi workouts, a Mindfulness app, Find My changes, Focus modes, a retooled Home app, new Photos features, and alterations to message composition and sharing.
