The new kids and family series "Amber Brown" gets its first trailer, premiering July 29 on Apple TV+.
'Amber Brown' coming to Apple TV+ on July 29
"Amber Brown" is a live-action adaptation of the bestselling book series by the same name, authored by Paula Danziger. The series is directed by Bonnie Hunt and is described as an unfiltered look at a girl finding her voice through art and music in the wake of her parent's divorce.
Carsyn Rose stars as the titular Amber Brown alongside Sarah Drew, Darin Brooks, Ashley Williams, Michael Yo, and Liliana Inouye. Executive producers include Bonnie Hunt, Bob Higgins, and Jon Rutherford.
The trailer shows young Amber Brown struggling with the obstacles of growing up split between divorced parents. She learns to cope with the new life by finding meaning in her own with new friends and challenges to overcome at her school.
This new show joins the many other children's programming on Apple TV+ including "Duck & Goose" and "Pinecone & Pony." Apple says that its award-winning programming has earned 246 wins and 1,062 award nominations to date.
