HomeKit Insider
On March 29, Apple officially announced WWDC. Your hosts speculate during this episode what news Apple may share that's relevant to the smart home, including a redesigned HomePod with a screen or an updated homeOS.
Apple's looming updates are predicated by the full release of iOS 16.4 and the first beta release of 16.5, both bringing smart home changes. These were accompanied by updates to Apple's other platforms.
This week we also had news coming from Eve on its Matter rollout and Hue who is delaying its Matter update. We saw a new update come to the Home Widgets app to enable new Lock Screen shortcut actions.
Finally, we revisit the Sonos Era 300 review, review the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, and go hands-on with the Zens 4-in-1 MagSafe charger.
