On this week's episode of the HomeKit Insider podcast, your hosts walk through the new Brilliant panel, Tesla's Shortcuts, and more smart home news.
HomeKit Insider
Brilliant introduced a new version of its smart wall panel this past week. It still supports HomeKit, but now connects directly to power via an AC outlet compared to installed in the wall.
Tesla also added some smart home-friendly features. Your Tesla is now able to respond to various Siri Shortcut commands like flashing the lights, honking the horn, opening the frunk, setting the temperature, and more that can be built into your HomeKit scenes.
SAmsung has a new version of its popular Frame TV. The new model comes with over a hundred pieces of Disney original animation artwork to celebrate the Mouse House's hundredth anniversary.
Finally, we got our first look at Hue cameras this week. Not much could be gleaned feature-wise, but they appear to have a nondescript black cylindrical casing.
We had two mini reviews this week, taking a close look at the BoostCharge Pro with an integrated Fast Charge watch puck and the T-Series Moment lenses.
