As for when fans could expect to see the season, it is said to be returning sometime in 2025. Considering filming would take place early in the year if the rumor is true, this seems like a plausible editing and release schedule.
However, it is unknown whether Jason Sudeikis will be involved. The star, who played the titular figure, intended it to be a three-season show, and didn't previously entertain the idea of a fourth season at all.
In commenting on Sudeikis, Judge offers that it will be known if he is involved "soon enough." However, he adds that it is certain that it is for a fourth season and not a spin-off show.
Previous reports claim that Warner Bros. has picked up options for actors playing key roles in the show in August. The list included Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift, with Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt expected to be reached out to at a later time.
In June 2023, Hunt recounted a conversation with Tim Cook, revealing that the Apple CEO hoped a fourth season would take place.
