'Sniper Elite 4' creeps onto Mac, iPhone, and iPad

Rebellion's award-winning tactical shooter, "Sniper Elite 4" is now available on select iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.

The World War II sniper experience takes the player to 1943 Italy. Playing as Karl Fairburne, they must use an array of authentic weaponry to defeat a new Nazi threat.

The game is best known for its "X-ray Kill Camera," which shows an internal view of enemies as they are hit by bullets.

Initially released in 2017, Sniper Elite 4 It's also been praised for its expansive maps, stealth gameplay, and period-accurate weaponry. It received an award for visual design from The Independent Game Developers' Association.

If you want to pick up Sniper Elite 4 you can do so by heading to the App Store. To play on Mac, you'll need a machine with an M1 chip or later and be running macOS Ventura or newer.

To play on iPad, you'll need to run iPadOS 17 or later and a device with an M-series or A17 Pro chip.

iPhone users can join in on the fun, too. Just be sure you're running iOS 17 or later on a device with the A17 Pro chip or newer. Currently, that includes the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Pro lineup.

Sniper Elite 4 is rated 17+ and costs $24.99 to unlock the full edition, though everyone can play the first mission for free. It also supports external controls for those who do not want to play on a touch screen.

Currently, Sniper Elite 4 is only available for Apple devices through the App Store but can be purchased for PC via Steam.
