Signal
Signal is a cross-platform encrypted messaging service that uses standard cellular telephone numbers as identifiers and uses end-to-end encryption to secure all communications to other Signal users. Messages in the Signal app can include files, voice notes, images and videos. It can also be used to make one-to-one voice and video calls. Signal keeps a record of your contact number and the last time you used the app; it does not store or display any information whom you called and spoke with.
Wickr
Wickr is another instant messaging app that will allow you to exchange end-to-end encrypted and content-expiring messages with AppleInsider, including photos, videos, and file attachments. The software is available for download on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.Tip AppleInsider on Wickr at: AppleInsider
